Document Steps - Overview of Working in the Document Step Type

This Paths support article gives an overview of the Document Step type.

Creating a New Document Step

1. In Path creation mode, click on "Add Steps" and choose "Create from Scratch"
2. Click on "Create" in the Document box. 

Acceptable File Sizes and Formats

1. PDF files are currently the only acceptable file type

Adding a Document

1. First add a document name and description of the document you are uploading (required)
   
2. Next, click "upload a PDF file"
   
3. Choose the PDF you would like to upload 
   
4. Specify the number of pages your document includes (required)

Saving the Step

1. Click on "Create" when you are ready to save the Step. 

Editing an Existing Document Step

1. To edit the step at anytime click on the 3 dots next to the step
   
2. Click "edit" 
   
3. Make any necessary changes following the directions above
